A village featuring approximately three square kilometres, wich have been fairly distributed between industry and human beings for a century. Located west of Nervión river mouth in the Basque Country, Sestao abridges in its specific history a wide range of deeds sporting a deeper universal significance and scope. Hyperindustrialized to a level not seen in most of other places, it endures frontally and with similar strength the changes of economic cycles, both regarding its industry and its inhabitants. The images showed here belong to a still in the making long essay endeavouring to tell how Sestao inhabitants have been marching on through different epochs and centuries and now start making history once more in the scratch line of the new millennium.

Aproximadamente tres kilometros cuadrados, desde hace un siglo repartidos equitativamente entre la industria y los humanos. Enclave situado al oeste de la desembocadura del rio Nervión en el País Vasco, Sestao compendia en su historia concreta hechos de talante más universal. Hiperindustrializado como pocos sitios sufre frontalmente y con igual potencia los cambios de ciclo económico, tanto en su industria como en sus habitantes.
